back in february, nutter promised he could fix the recycling program within three months or so of his administration. does that mean that this time next year we could have weekly pickup with single stream in every neighborhood in philly? are we going to hold him to this?
i saw mr. recycling maurice sampson at the nutter victory party last night, wearing a big smile and a recycle now t-shirt, so i have to imagine good things are in store compared to the abysmal street admin.
remember that in february the streets department said that they are $3 million short in retrofitting the extra trucks to be able to handle single stream. will nutter find the $ or empower the community that has been ignored by clarena tolson to raise whatever is really needed to get us to citywide single-stream?
